Kronos is the association for every Kronaut. If you want to do only one or many more events, you are welcome! We do everything from running to jumping and from sprinting to throwing.
Do you want to come and check out if athletics is something for you? During the month september there are Introtrainings. The whole month it is free to join trainings. If you want to train, you can come by on the UTrack on the trainingtimes that are below. If you have any questions, you can send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The general program for 2022 is as follows:
Monday 18:00 - 19:30 h Running, Sprinting and Long sprinting
Tuesday 18:00 - 19:30 h Duration run and Technical events
Wednesday 18:00 - 19:00 h Circuittraining
Thursday 18:00 - 19:30 h Running, Technical events and Long sprinting
All workouts will start at the UTrack, the athleticstrack on campus.
As can be seen in the program there are many kinds of workouts. You are free to choose to do all 4 in one week or to do only 1 in 4 weeks. Every training will also be ended in a sociable way all together.
Sprint training: Every monday there is a sprintworkout for everyone who feels free to come under the eye of our own pro sprinter. If you want to be the new Usain Bolt or the new Dafne Schippers or you would just like to feel the wind rushing through your hair, this is your workout.
Long sprint traning*: the long sprint trainings are there for everyone, is 100m too short and 1500m too far? Then come and join the long sprint training to try it for yourself! In the training we lay the focus on form, speed, endurance and fun in diverse trainings.
Technical events: Longjump, Hurdling, Javelinthrow, every event of athletics will be trained. With our own Kronos trainer you will learn a lot and you will surely have fun and improve!
Running: Everybody is allowed to participate. The running group mainly focusses on distances longer than 5 kilometres which everyone does on his or her own level. The runninggroup is a good place to build up condition and to improve your running technique.
Durationrun: The durationrun will take place every thursday and is a run through the beautifull green surroundings of our campus. The run will be 1 hour and the tempo will be approximately 12 km/h.
Circuit training: Strength and condition are the base layers of every athlete. If you don't want to get injured this is a very good training for you. The circuittraining is an easy way to get to know your strength and to train every muscle in your body. This training is meant for runners and for combined events athletes. In the winter the workouts will be inside, in a reasonable temperature.
